Mother Nature has been letting us know winter is not quite over yet.
This past weekend we sustained some damage from the storm that went through. There was a failure in the wave attenuating wall which led to some dock damage.
The wave attenuating wall manufacturer, along with their engineers, were on the water assessing the situation yesterday. They have a dive team in today (Tuesday April 17th) to do an underwater assessment. They are planning on proceeding with the repairs immediately after reviewing the dive reports.
We spent yesterday with dock manufacturer assessing the dock damage. The good news is, very little structural damage occurred, and the majority of damage will be easily fixed. The company is on site starting the process for repairs on the dock system today.
The launch schedule is currently being adjusted to compensate for the weather over the last couple of days. Depending on the assessment of the wave attenuation wall and the estimated repair time, launch times and dates may need to be altered. Our team will do everything we can to make sure launch is quick and hassle-free.
If your launch time needs to be adjusted, we will contact you as soon as possible. We’ll keep the Harbour West website blog updated with news on the situation with the wave attenuation wall. If you have any questions, please reach out to Tristen, Lynn, or myself.
Thank You,
